Martyna Szpakowska clinched the GLIAC Tournament Championship for Wayne State against Grand Valley State with her 6-2, 6-3 triumph over Neus Ramos at the fourth flight this past Sunday.  That victory officially made WSU tournament champions for a third consecutive season and earned the Green and Gold an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.  The sophomore also won 6-2, 6-0 vs. Saginaw Valley State's Calli Sokolowski during the GLIAC Tournament Semifinals, which the Warriors claimed by a 4-2 score.  In doubles, Szpakowska and Malak Arafat secured a pair of 6-1 victories at the No. 2 position over the weekend against SVSU's Amelia Dickson and Elizabeth Stuart, as well as GVSU's Vasileia Griva and Rachel Sam.
