Graduate transfer Taylor Hopkins made an immediate impact in her first WSU indoor track meet eclipsing an 11-year-old school mark in the 1,000m run.  She won the race at the Findlay Alumni Classic last Friday with a time of 2:58.35, which bettered the previous mark of 2:59.41 set by Brittany Johnson in 2014.  Hopkins, who earned a bachelor's degree from Northwood in two years and joined the Warriors this past summer, narrowly missed All-GLIAC honors during the cross country season and was one of WSU's top runners at the NCAA Midwest Regional in November.
