Barbara Munoz (Yumbo, Colombia / Comfandi Yumbo) finished in first three times at the 2025 GLIAC Championships last week. Munoz won the 1000 free (10:01.98, NCAA B Cut), 200 fly (1:59.04, NCAA A Cut, GLIAC Meet Record) and 1650 free (16:49.35, NCAA B Cut). Munoz will cap off her career as an eight-time GLIAC Champion, four of which came as an individual thanks to the 200 fly title in 2024. Individually, the grad student also secured a fourth-place finish in the 400 IM with an NCAA B Cut time of 4:21.71. Relay wise, Munoz swam in the 800 free relay (second, 7:27.61, NCAA B Cut), 400 free relay (second, 3:25.57) and 400 medley relay (fourth, 3:47.71).
