Sophomore Sydney Long (Grand Blanc, Mich.) went 1-0 with a complete game shutout in two starts and three total appearances.  Long compiled a 1.62 ERA and had 15 strikeouts to two walks in 13 innings of work.  She allowed just 12 hits and limited opposing batters to a .231 average.

Long allowed three earned runs in five innings with three strikeouts against Indiana (Pa.).  Her work allowed the Warrior bats to come alive at the end for a 6-5 victory in eight innings.

She tossed two innings of scoreless relief against Shepherd but saved her best for last.

Facing a Saint Michael's squad that had scored 11 runs in its two games the day before, Long struck out 10 and did not walk a batter, while allowing five hits in the six-inning 9-0 triumph.
