Malak Arafat (Alexandria, Egypt / Lycée Français d'Alexandrie) helped the women's tennis squad to two GLIAC victories this past weekend over Lake Superior State and Michigan Tech.  In doubles play, Arafat and her partner, Justine Beaulieu (Montreal, Que. / Collège de Montréal High School) collected two wins defeating a pairing from LSSU 7-6 (7-4) and topping an MTU duo 6-1.  The junior thrived in her singles showings as well, posting another pair of wins.  The WSU student-athlete downed LSSU's Tayla Brasier 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 before topping Caoimhe McDonnell of MTU 6-2, 6-0.
