Kayla Giroux (Flat Rock, Mich.) hit .391 for the week with 32 kills and only five errors on 69 total attacks.  After a slow match on Friday against 15th-ranked Ferris State (12, 5, 28, .250), Giroux was red hot on Saturday with Davenport in town.  The senior middle blocker racked up 20 kills without a single miscue on 41 attempts for a .488 efficiency.  That effort marked the veteran's fifth with 20+ kills this season and eighth such instance in her career.  The All-American also moved up from fifth place to fourth in Wayne State's record book for career kills with 1,289.
