Lowell Blanchard Track
The track was built in 2006 in honor of Dr. Lowell Blanchard, a WSU track star from 1924-26 who credited his success as a medical doctor to help overcome his speech impediment. He went on to deliver over 5,000 babies as a pediatrician in Jackson, Mich. The final Polyurethane surfacing was added in 2011 as a gift from Wayne County. The community uses the track as well as youth groups for clinics and camps.
Lowell Blanchard Track sits within Tom Adams Field and goes around the football playing surface.
