A triple by Lopez started the second quarter scoring, and after a pair of foul shots by WSL's Nicole Fogt made it 31-18, the Warriors tallied 18 of the next 19 points for a 49-19 lead near the mid-point of the second period.

A lay-up by junior Paige Villemure (Flat Rock, Mich.) in the final seconds of the first half capped off a 10-4 WSU run giving the hosts a 59-23 lead at intermission.

Wayne State scored the first four points after halftime on lay-ups by Birchmeier and Chambers.  Following a jumper by Lopez, the Warriors scored the next 12 points for a 75-25 lead with 3:30 remaining in the third period.
