A QUOTE FROM COACH SNYDER

"WSU got off to a slow start in doubles today, while the Cardinals came out strong," commented coach Sheila Snyder.  "Eventually we were able to fight our way back and come up with a victory.  No. 3 doubles really played well.  The Warriors were able to carry that momentum into their singles matches.  Everyone has fought hard this entire weekend and they keep improving every match.  I like where we are for the final two weeks of the regular season, peaking at the right time.  And the girls have been playing with great energy and with a lot of heart.  It is definitely a fun group to watch.  Grand Valley State and Ferris State are both strong teams, and we are looking forward to both matches.  Overall, it was another great team effort.  From top to bottom, everyone is bringing it."

UP NEXT

The Warriors will host Grand Valley State on Saturday, Oct. 19th, for a 10:00 a.m. match.
