Carli Bushoven To Be Guest Speaker At "W" Day Brunch

DETROIT – The Wayne State University Department of Athletics announced today that Carli Bushoven, Director of Communications for the Madison Holleran Foundation will serve as the guest speaker at the 10th Annual W Day Brunch in celebration of women's athletics on Saturday, April 13. The event highlights the start of W Week, the annual celebration of women's athletics.

Bushoven's sister, Madison Holleran, is the subject of a book titled "What Made Maddy Run: The Secret Struggles and Tragic Death of an All-American Teen." Madison's family started the Madison Holleran Foundation to prevent suicides and to assist those in a crisis situation with phone numbers and resources that will assist them during their time in crisis. Carli has served as the Director of Communications for the non-profit organization since its inception in January of 2015.

A limited number of tickets are still available and can be purchased online. Tickets are $20 for the general public and $15 for Wayne State students (by showing your OneCard).
