11th Annual Trammell/Parrish Camp Set for July 27-29

DETROIT -- Alan Trammell and Lance Parrish will host their 11th Annual Camp at Wayne State University from July 27-29.  The entire camp is open to baseball and softball players ages 7-18 with each day costing $125.  The three-day clinic will take place on the athletic campus of Wayne State University and utilize Harwell Field, Tom Adams Field, Gary Bryce Field and the Doris J. & Donald L. Duchene, Sr. Athletic Facility.

This year will feature three opportunities to improve your game.

Trammell and Parrish will oversee instruction, while members of the Wayne State University baseball and softball programs, WSU coaches, student-athletes, and guest coaches will assist with drill work and lend their expertise.  Each day begins at 9:00 AM with registration starting at 8:00 AM and concludes at 1:00 PM.  Participants will be placed into groups based on age and participate in camp curriculum within their age bracket.

"We are thrilled to continue a tremendous partnership with two iconic Major League Baseball players in Alan Trammell and Lance Parrish," said head coach Ryan Kelley.  "Hosting camps with them across the last decade has been exceptional during the typical winter offseason.  However, as we prepare to safely return to the field of play, we are excited to now host this camp experience during the traditional summer season.  We eagerly anticipate elevating the overall camp experience at Harwell Field and our extensive outdoor facilities on the athletics campus of Wayne State University.  With Alan, Lance and our program we can't wait to provide high level education, energy, repetitions, development and a one-of-a-kind summer camp experience."

The Tuesday and Wednesday sessions will be catching/shortstop/pitching camps with added focus on hitting, while Thursday will be a comprehensive camp with simulated game experiences with higher-level campers being evaluated.  All three days will be focused on education, implementation, repetition and evaluation.  Players will get a high-volume of reps in a fun and energetic atmosphere.
