Wayne State Baseball to Host Born In Detroit Hitting Camp

The March 18 camp will feature a morning session and afternoon session.

DETROIT -- The Wayne State University baseball program will be hosting a Born In Detroit hitting camp on Saturday, March 18 with two sessions in the Duchene Athletic Facility, Matthaei Center and Harwell Field.
 
Session one (ages 7-12) will run from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM with registration starting at 9:00 AM. Session two (ages 13-18) runs from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM with registration beginning at 12:30 PM.
 
The camp will include the opportunity to work on all aspects of offense with the Wayne State coaching staff and players. Each camp session will include detailed hitting instruction, classroom education, strength/speed/flexibility education, mental aspects of hitting, and baserunning. Campers can anticipate a high volume of repetitions in a fun and energetic atmosphere and all will receive a Born In Detroit t-shirt.
