DAVENPORT, Fla. -- Thanks to some great work from the bullpen and another big day at the plate, the Wayne State University baseball team (7-2 overall) jumped back into the win column on Thursday afternoon defeating Seton Hill (6-5 overall), 12-2. Next up, the Warriors will face Wayne State College in a doubleheader on Friday with game one set to begin at 3:15 p.m. in Auburndale, Fla.

WSU pushed across one run in the first four innings before breaking out to score the next 11 in innings five through eight. Individually, Hunter DeLanoy (Hartland, Mich. / Hartland), Chris Tanderys (Livonia, Mich. / Stevenson) and Brett Zimmerman (Frankfort, Mich. / Frankfort) spearheaded the Warriors' offensive effort going a combined 10-for-14 (.714 batting average) at the dish with five runs scored, 11 RBI, one walk, and a stolen base.

Also getting into the hit column for WSU were CJ Maury (Brampton, Ont. / Mayfield SS), Tony Hatzigeorgiou (Oxford, Mich. / Oxford), Kyle Domzalski (Huntington Woods, Mich. / Berkley), and Noah Miller (Macomb, Mich. / University Liggett).

On the mound, Griffin Kilander (Livonia, Mich. / Stevenson) improved to 2-0 with 2.2 nearly spotless innings of work out of the bullpen.
