DETROIT -- The Wayne State University volleyball team (10-10 overall, 7-3 GLIAC) went 2-0 on the week and 6-0 in sets played after a sweep of Northern Michigan (13-7 overall, 7-3 GLIAC) on Saturday afternoon inside the Matthaei.  The Warriors handed the Wildcats their third-straight loss and have been on the right side for three consecutive league matches.

"Along with last night's performance against Michigan Tech, that was probably one of the top matches that we've played all season, today," said head coach Tim Koth.  "We've really elevated our level of play since the beginning of the year and they've been working hard.  I thought it was an outstanding match against an outstanding team from Northern Michigan."
