Women's Tennis Finishes Play at Block E Invitational

Warriors finish the weekend 6-8 in singles and 3-6 in doubles.

Ypsilanti, Mich. -- The Wayne State University women's tennis squad finished play at the Block E Invitational on Saturday. WSU finished the weekend 6-8 in singles, and 3-6 in doubles.

The Warriors competed alongside Bowling Green, Findlay, Oakland, Youngstown State, and host school Eastern Michigan.

Competing this weekend for the Green and Gold were Anais Ruyssen (Nantes, France), Malak Arafat (Alexandria, Egypt), Martyna Szpakowska (Gdansk, Poland), Dea Gorgidze (Tbilisi, Georgia), Justine Beaulieu (Montreal, Quebec), and Dessyre Obedencio (Warren, Mich.).
