Volleyball Downs Purdue Northwest in Straight Sets

All three sets ended 25-19 in favor of WSU.

HAMMOND, Ind. -- The Wayne State University volleyball squad (10-3 overall, 4-2 GLIAC) finished its four-match conference road swing by defeating Purdue Northwest (6-5 overall, 3-2 GLIAC) in straight sets (3-0) on Friday night inside John Friend Court.  All three sets ended with the same 25-19 score in favor of the Warriors.

The Green and Gold finished with an even 2-2 ledger on the road trip, which began one week ago (September 26) at Davenport.

"It was a strong performance by the Warriors tonight in a place that has been difficult for us to play in in the past," said head coach Tim Koth.  "I'm very proud of our group!"
