Volleyball Avenges Early Season Loss to Davenport on Senior Day

After getting swept in Grand Rapids on Sept. 26, Wayne State took care of the Panthers in four sets.

DETROIT -- The Wayne State University volleyball team (17-5 overall, 9-3 GLIAC) took care of Davenport (11-12 overall, 7-5 GLIAC) in four sets on Saturday afternoon for Senior Day inside the Matthaei Center.

"This was a nice bounce back after a tough match last night," said head coach Tim Koth.  "Our middles were outstanding, Kayla (Giroux) offensively and Kat (Stout) defensively... they dictated play and we needed them."
