DETROIT -- The Wayne State University volleyball team (21-5 overall, 13-3 GLIAC) has captured at least a share of the GLIAC Regular-Season Championship for the first time in 44 years. Friday night inside the Matthaei, the Warriors handled Purdue Northwest (13-11 overall, 7-8 GLIAC) in straight sets for the 2025 regular-season finale.
If Ferris State (21-6 overall, 12-3 GLIAC) loses to Parkside on Saturday, WSU will claim the fourth outright GLIAC Regular-Season Championship in program history and first since a third straight in 1981.
