Women's Outdoor Track and Field Sets School Mark With 30 Academic Recipients

WSU eclipsed his previous mark with 30

DETROIT -- The 2025 Wayne State University women's outdoor track and field team set a program record with 30 GLIAC All-Academic honorees, which included 23 All-Academic Excellence Team honorees matching the previous school mark set a year ago. Over the last five years, 125 members of the women's outdoor track and field team have earned Academic All-GLIAC recognition.

Criteria states the student-athlete must be an active member on the roster at the end of the season, and not a freshman or a first-year transfer student.

Grade-point averages listed are calculated through the winter semester.
