DETROIT -- At the recently concluded NACDA Convention, the Wayne State University athletic department received five awards from NACMA (National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators) for this past academic year.
WSU, which is in group 3, won Gold in the Branded Static Collateral category with the Student Center Environmental graphics.
The marketing department also took home two silver awards for Game Day Promotion (Retro Day - Vintage Mini Market) and in the Community Engagement category for the annual Blood Battle with Davenport and the Red Cross.
WSU also won two bronze medal awards for the Quick Sales Campaign featuring volleyball championship apparel after the Warriors won the GLIAC tournament for the first time in program history. The other bronze award was for the Year-over-Year Revenue Increase for WSU merchandise.
