High School:  A 2019 graduate of Evanston Township High School ... was a two-year starter for coach Mike Burzawa ... helped the Wildkits to a 7-3 record, their best in over 20 years and the opening round of the 2018 IHSAA playoffs ... finished senior season with 34 tackles (28 solo, 6 assisted) ... played multiple positions for ETHS and made several impact plays.

Coach Winters on Amir Abdullah:  “Amir is a diamond in the rough as he played defensive back, linebacker and defensive end for Evanston Twp. High School.  We were fortunate enough to see Amir stand out as a defensive back in our summer prospect camp.  Amir is very tall and athletic, with good quickness and great strength in his arms and hands.  He has the ability to play in press man coverage because of his quickness and strength.”
