2024:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team ... aside from Drew Hill's one start on the mound, Nazelli was Wayne State's only two-way player in 2024 ... appeared in a total of 12 games including eight as a relief pitcher, three as a pinch-hitter (moved to left field in two of those) and one as the starting designated hitter (Feb. 25, game two against Tiffin) ... starting on the mound, notched a 7.71 ERA and 0-1 win-loss record in eight appearances, all out of the bullpen, with first career save (April 6 vs. Saginaw Valley State), five strikeouts, five walks and batting average against of .300 ... at the plate, was hitless in his five at-bats with a pair of walks ... back to that save, he went two innings with one earned run surrendered on two hits, no free passes and two punchouts on 35 pitches ... collected a trio of scoreless outings including March 24 at Purdue Northwest (1.0 IP, 2 H, 1 SO, 17 pitches), March 27 against SVSU (0.1 IP, 1 SO, 3 pitches) and March 30 at Grand Valley State (1.1 IP, 13 pitches) ... defensively, was perfect on a trio of chances with one putout and two assists ... 2023-24 recipient of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award ...
