Biography


2007-08: Finished second in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.97) after breaking the school record in the preliminary round (1:06.37) at the GLIAC Championship ... also set a new WSU record in the preliminary 200 breaststroke (2:25.58) and subsequently placed third in the final (2:28.02) ... received a 2007-08 DII ADA Academic Achievement Award ... earned GLIAC All-Academic Team honors.

2006-07 Finished seventh in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.22) and eighth in the 200 breaststroke (2:31.73) at the GLIAC Championship ... swam in the preliminary 400 medley relay (4:09.90 - 6th) ... named to the GLIAC All-Academic Team.

2005-06: Finished seventh in the 200 breast (2:30.18) to earn 12 points ... won the "B" finals of the 100 breast (1:09.63) to place ninth and earn nine points.

2004-05: Finished seventh in the 100 breast (1:09.81) at the GLIAC Championships ... placed eighth in the 200 breast (2:32.17) ... named to the GLIAC All-Academic team.

2003-04: Attended WSU but did not compete.

High School: A 2003 graduate of Riverside S.S ... swam five years for coaches John Loncke and Dave Cakebread ... spent four seasons as team captain ... Rebels won the Ontario Federation School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) title in 2002 and 2003 ... Rebels also won back-to-back Windsor-Essex County Secondary Schools Athletic Association (WECSSAA) titles in those years ... enjoyed her best season in 2001-02, when she finished second in the 100 IM and third in the 100 back at leagues and followed that with a third-place IM finish at OFSAA Finals ... recorded four second-place WECSSAA finishes in her career, but displayed versatility by doing so in four different events: the 50 fly ('03), 100 IM ('02), 200 free ('01), and 100 breast ('00) ... won 100 breast league title her freshman year ... honor roll student every year at Riverside.
