CAREER NOTES:  Became the first WSU student-athlete to be a three-time CoSIDA Academic All-American after earning Second Team accolades for the third straight year in 2016.

2015-16:     Voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's At-Large First Team ... named to the CSCAA Scholar All-America First Team ... Deans' Award winner from the College of Engineering for having the highest cumulative grade-point average of all student-athletes in that college ... 2015-16 recipient of the DII ADA Academic Achievement Award.  NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS:  A two-time First Team All-American and earned one Honorable Mention All-American accolade … was a member of the national runner-up 200 free relay squad (1:32.00) … swam the third leg on the 400 medley relay team that placed fifth with a time of 3:44.76 … was a part of the 400 free relay squad that finished 10th (3:25.24) … also competed in the 50 free (23.69) and the 100 back (56.76).  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:  member of the 200 free relay team that won the conference title with a time of 1:33.57 … swam the first leg for the 400 medley relay which placed first (3:46.82) … won the bronze medal (third place) in the 100 back with a time of 55.86 … notched a fourth-place finish in the 100 free (52.43) and swam a 23.97 in the 50 free for sixth place … finished seventh in the 100 butterfly with a time of 57.24.  SEASON:  Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team … competed in five meets … placed first as a member of the 200 medley relay (1:49.11) at Calvin (11/20) … posted top regular season times in the 100 back (57.57) at the Eastern Michigan Invite (12/5), 50 back (28.47) against Findlay (1/15) and 50 free (25.42) at Eastern Michigan (1/22).

2014-15:  NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS:  A four-time First Team All-American and collected a Honorable Mention All-American award ... was the second leg of the 200 freestyle relay that finished seventh ... also member of 400 medley relay team that finished seventh ...  swam lead off for the 200 medley relay team that finished ninth ... anchored the 400 freestyle relay, which finished fourth ... swam the 100 back in 54.95 to finish sixth ... competed in the 50 free and swam a season-best time of 24.33 in the prelims.  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Won the 100 back in a time of 55.25 ... member of two championships relay teams ... led off the 200 medley relay team and swam the second leg of the 200 freestyle relay ... finished third in the 100 fly in a time of 56.55 ... finished fifth in the 50 free (23.82) ... swam a 2:14.31 to finish eighth in the 200 back.  SEASON:  Voted to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Women's At-Large First Team and was selected as a Second Team Academic All-American ... named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team ... GLIAC Winter Commissioner's Award winner ... swam in seven meets ... top regular season times of 24.69 in the 50 free, 26.10 in the 50 back, 56.27 in the 100 back, 2:08.14 in the 200 back vs. Grand Valley State (1/10), and a 54.34 in the 100 free at the Eastern Michigan Invitational (12/5).
 
2012-13:   Named to the CSCAA Scholar All-American First Team.  NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Earned three First Team All-America honors ... anchored second-place 200 free relay (1:32.69) and second-place 400 free relay (3:42.24) ... placed eighth in the 100 backstroke (56.18) ... finished 30th in the 200 backstroke (2:08.57) and 33rd in the 50 free (23.96).  GLIAC CHAMPIONSHIPS:  Anchored the second-place 200 free relay (1:34.52) ... led off second-place 400 medley relay (3:47.96) ... finished second in the 100 backstroke (55.91) ... placed sixth in the 50 free (23.82) and sixth in the 200 backstroke (2:05.46).  SEASON:  Competed in eight meets ... top times in 100 butterfly (57.69) and 100 free (54.18) at Eastern Michigan Invitational (11-30-12/1).

High School:  A 2012 graduate of Traverse City West … lettered four years in swimming … two-time all-state (2010-11) and All-America in 2011 … top times of 57.71 in 100 back, 24.94 in 50 free and 59.27 in 100 butterfly … served as team captain … National Honor Society member.

Maleski … born in Traverse City … daughter of Brian Maleski and Dianna Hinsenkamp … has two brothers, Ryan and Adam … is a biomedical engineering honors major ... named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll (term gpa 3.5+) for Fall 2012 (4.00), Winter 2013, Fall 2013, Winter 2014 (4.00), Fall 2014, Fall 2015 and Winter 2016 ... named to the Coach's Honor Roll (term gpa 3.0-3.49) for Winter 2015.
