2013:  Saw playing time at the defensive tackle position in six games ... recorded an assisted tackle at Hillsdale ... made a career-high two assisted tackles at Northern Michigan ... had an assisted tackle at Ferris State ... missed the first three games due to injury and the last two contests also due to injury ... High School:  A 2008 graduate of Macomb Dakota High School ... helped the Cougars to a 14-0 record as a senior by making 84 tackles including 11 sacks ... was a starting defensive tackle in the 2007 Division 1 state title game ... had a half-tackle for loss (along with current teammate Mike Laamanen) and a pass break-up in the championship game victory over Livonia Stevenson ... had a fumble recovery in the 2006 Division 1 state championship game win over Rockford for DHS (13-1) ... named to the Macomb Daily All-County squad ... earned Detroit Free Press Division 1 First Team All-State honors as well as All-Metro East First Team accolades ... tallied a career-high 16 sacks in 2005 ... also competed in wrestling and track and field, where he was selected to the Macomb Area Conference All-Academic Team ... was a wrestling team captain.
