Emergency Action Plan
Athletic organizations have a duty to develop an emergency action plan (EAP) to provide the appropriate standard of health care to student-athletes in emergency and/or life-threatening conditions, as well as to outline the necessary actions that should be taken immediately after identifying that such a situation is occurring. (See the NATA position statement on EAPs HERE)

DO YOU KNOW WHERE THE NEAREST AED IS LOCATED?
The gold standard of care is to recognize a cardiac event and administer a shock (if appropriate) using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in 2 minutes or less.
All of our AED locations are noted in the EAP documents above.
Be prepared. Save a life.
