2007-08: Served as a volunteer assistant coach for the WSU fencing program.

2006-07: Placed third at the 2007 NCAA Championship in the epee after defeating Columbia[apos]s Dwight Smith, 14-12, in the bronze medal bout ... compiled a 16-7 record (+27 touches) during round-robin competition at the NCAA Championship ... won the NCAA Midwest Regional epee title with a 13-12 victory over Ohio State[apos]s Mykhaylo Mazur in the final ... finished second in the men[apos]s epee at the 2007 Midwest Fencing Conference championship at Notre Dame ... entered as the No. 8 seed but compiled a 5-0 record in pool play ... reached the finals by defeating Cleveland State[apos]s Andy Snell (15-3), Ohio State[apos]s Christian Rivera (15-8), and Ohio State[apos]s Jason Pryor (15-13) ... lost 15-12 to teammate Slava Zingerman in the title bout ... helped the men[apos]s epee squad to a second-place finish at the MFC, falling 5-2 to Ohio State in the championship round.

2005-06: Placed 13th at the NCAA Championship ... won the men[apos]s epee at the 2006 MFC championship hosted by Notre Dame ... entered the championship as the No. 3 seed, had a 6-0 record in pool play then defeated Ohio State[apos]s Jason Pryor (15-12), Lawrence[apos]s Alexander Kaeding (15-2), OSU[apos]s Denis Tolkachev (15-8) and Notre Dame[apos]s Greg Howard (15-9), the No. 2 seed, to finish the championship unbeaten.

2004-05: Named a First Team All-American after placing second at the NCAA Championship ... in the championship final, Petraszek battled Notre Dame senior Michal Sobieraj to the wire before falling 15-13 ... finished fifth at the Midwest Fencing Conference championship at Notre Dame to earn second team All-MFCC honors ... helped men[apos]s epee team to a second-place finish behind Ohio State.

2003-04: Finished seventh at the NCAA Championship with a 15-8 record to earn Second Team All-America honors ... placed second at the Midwest Fencing Championship ... helped men[apos]s epeé to a third-place team finish at MFC ... finished 31st at the North American Cup held on December 12 in Palm Springs, Calif.

Pre-College: Graduated in 2000 from Gliwice High School ... earned gold medal at Junior European Championship in 2000 ... earned a silver medal at the Junior World Championships in 2001 ... earned a silver medal at the Senior European Championships ... a two-time Polish Champion both as an individual and with his team ... earned over 15 medals in Polish Championships ... A world cup finalist in 2000, 2001 and 2002 ... a member of the Poland Olympic fencing team for the Athens Games in 2004.
