Joe Juszczyk returned to Wayne State University joining the men's golf coaching staff in August of 2022 and began his fourth season in the fall of 2025. 

Juszczyk was inducted into the WSU Athletic Hall of Fame in October of 2023.

After completing his first season on Coach Mike Horn's staff, Juszczyk won the 2023 Michigan Open.

He competed for the Warriors from 2006 until 2010 and is one of the best golfers in program history.  Juszczyk was an All-American in both 2008 (GCAA Honorable Mention) and 2010 (GCAA Second Team) and was an All-GLIAC on honoree three occasions, including First Team accolades in both 2009 and 2010 (Honorable Mention in 2008).  The two-time team captain played 127 rounds for the Green & Gold and posted an average score of 74.25.

His collegiate low round of 66 is tied-for-second all-time, as his his 36-hole total of 137.  Juszczyk posted a three-round score of 212 at the Fall 2008 GLIAC Championships, which ranks third all-time.  In 2008, he became the first NCAA Super Regional medalist in school history and tied the 54-hole school record of 213 (68, 68, 77) at the time.  Juszczyk went on to compete at the 2008 NCAA Championship, the first WSU golfer to do so since head coach Mike Horn in 1986, where he shot a 295 to finish in a tie-for-74th.

In 2010, Juszczyk tied-for-12th at the NCAA Super Regional (71-77-76--224) then tied-for-14th at the NCAA Championship (75-72-78-78--303).

Since graduating from Wayne State in 2010 with a degree in business Management, Juszczyk has competed professionally.
