Summary

Biography

Kristen Rogers was promoted to assistant coach in January 2008 after serving the previous one-and-a-half seasons as Wayne State's graduate assistant coach.

A 2006 WSU graduate with a degree mathematics, Rogers earned her master's in sports administration in December 2007.

She concluded her Warrior playing days with 1,056 points which ranks 13th all-time. She also dished out 275 assists and grabbed 348 rebounds while starting 94 times. She currently holds the school record for three-pointers made (171) and attempted (581) in a career, while ranking second in free throw percentage (.837), third in minutes played (3,080) and fifth in steals (206).

During her senior season of 2005-06, she led the squad with 85 assists and 47 three-pointers made. As a freshman, Rogers scored a career-high 31 points versus Rochester as she made all eight of her three-point attempts in the first half.

A three-time GLIAC All-Academic team selection, Rogers was voted to the 2006 GLIAC South Division Second Team. She earned a spot on WSU's Athletic Director's Honor Roll (term gpa 3.5+) seven times as an undergraduate and also served as the women's basketball representative to the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

The Lansing Everett product is single and resides in Canton.
