Redshirt freshman pitcher Lyndsay Butler (Cambridge, Ont. / Centennial C.V.I.) went 4-0 with a save in her five appearances with two no-hitters and one near perfect game.  For the week, she struck out 43 and walked three in 27.2 innings while allowing six hits for an opponent batting average of .063.  She had three complete shutouts plus shared another allowing just two unearned runs at Ferris State.

She struck out six in her six innings at Ferris State last Tuesday.  Butler came back the next day to toss a six-inning no-hitter vs. Lake Erie striking out 13.

Over the weekend, she surrendered three hits to Lake Superior while striking out 11.  In the Northwood game on Sunday, Butler retired 18 of NU's 19 batters (only a fielding error) prevented a perfect game with eight strikeouts and no walks.
