Freshman Hannah Moore (Louisville, Ky. Assumption) has been named GLIAC North Player of the Week and now Warrior of the Week following her performance this past weekend as Wayne State went 1-1 with a win over Tiffin on Saturday afternoon. Moore helped the Warriors win a thrilling five-set match over the Dragons with solid and efficient play for WSU's first league win.

All Moore has ever done is win. She was part of national powerhouse and four-time Kentucky State Champion at Assumption High School. She brings that winning attitude to a young WSU program. She finished the weekend with 32 kills (3/56/set) while hitting an impressive .329 on 82 total swings. Moore also did her part to help the defense with 24 digs (2.67/set).

She currently ranks third in the conference in total attacks with 270 and 12th in kills with 76.
