Senior Kristina Novichenko (Seversk, Russia) won all three events she swam in as WSU earned a 206.5 to 93.5 victory on Saturday over Grand Valley State. She claimed first place in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:23.69 and the 200 butterfly touching in 2:02.99 earning an NCAA "B" cut qualifying standard. Novichenko swam the 100 butterfly in 57.93. The win was the Warriors sixth straight over the Lakers. WSU took first place in 13 of the events against GVSU.
