Senior Andreea Mitrache (Sterling Heights, Mich. / Warren Cousino) finished her career with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over GVSU's Madi Ballard at the top flight of singles in the NCAA Midwest Regional on Saturday.  Unfortunately, Mitrache and Liz Ghellere (Ararangua, Brazil / Unificado) were defeated 9-7 at the hands of Ballard and Nikki Heiniger at No. 2 doubles, as the Lakers won all three flights of doubles action.

Mitrache wraps up an incredibly productive career with 63 singles victories and 59 doubles wins.
