Freshman Jordan Fox (Melbourne, Victoria, Australia) was one of several key performers this past weekend that helped the women's swimming & diving team finish second at the 2020 GLIAC Championships. Following the meet, she earned GLIAC Freshman of the Year accolades.
She started the week by collecting an NCAA B-cuts after finishing in fifth (10:17.71) in the 1000 free. Fox claimed the top spot in the 200 free Championship finals (1:49.87), earning an NCAA B-cut and First Team All-GLIAC honors.  In the final event of day two, WSU notched a victory in the 400 medley relay with an NCAA B-cut time of 3:46.04. The First Team All-GLIAC relay featured Fox as the anchor.Â
On Friday, she placed second in the 500 free in a time of 4:56.98, improving on her NCAA B cut prelim time of 5:00.31. She anchored the 800 free relay squad that won with a time of 7:30.19.
She ended her week by collecting All-GLIAC accolades in the 200 back by finishing second (1:59.29), which is good for an NCAA B cut time.  The Green & Gold won the 400 free relay with a new GLIAC record of 3:24.40 with Fox swimming the final leg and bringing the title home.
