Women's fencer Salma Abdrabou (Cairo, Egypt) was Wayne State's top individual finisher at the 2026 National Collegiate Fencing Championships this past weekend. The junior tallied a 10-13 overall record in the women's epee, finishing 16th overall. Abdrabou helped the Green and Gold to a 13th-place finish on the women's side. Salma was one-of-four WSU student-athletes to compete at this years National Championships, continuing a legacy of Wayne State being the only school to participate in every NCAA Championship in fencing.
