HILLSDALE, Mich. -- Eight members of the Wayne State University women's outdoor track and field squad competed on the final day of the 2015 Gina Relays hosted by Hillsdale College.
The highlights included a school-record performance in the discus by sophomore
Elizabeth Herriman (Adrian, Mich. / Sand Creek). Herriman's toss of 42.36m (139-00) earned her a fourth-place finish in the event. Freshman
Dallas Porter (Royal Oak, Mich.) set a personal best in the discus with a toss of 34.53m (113-03). Junior
Erika Perry (Romeo, Mich.) and sophomore
Sloane Brunner (Washington, Mich. / Romeo) also competed in the event.
Sophomore
Gabrielle Herriman (Adrian, Mich. / Sand Creek) won the javelin with a personal best of 37.99m (124-08).
Sophomore
Leah Coonrod (Kalamazoo, Mich. / Gull Lake) also set a personal best in the 1500m race with a time of 4:54.00. Freshman
Kaley Kauff (Allen Park, Mich.) also ran the 1500m.
Freshman
Han Dinh (Sterling Heights, Mich. / Sterling Heights Stevenson) participated in the pole vault.
