Women's Track & Field Has Now Competed In Its Final Last Chance Meet

ALLENDALE, Mich. -- Two members of the Wayne State University women's outdoor track and field team took one last chance to qualify for this year's NCAA Championships on Sunday at the GVSU Last Day Meet.

Redshirt junior Keneisha Thomas (Madison Heights, Mich. / Lamphere) placed second in the 400m hurdles in a time of 1:01.29.

In her final collegiate race, graduate student Emily Gordon (Northville, Mich.) finished fifth in the 1,500m run by clocking in at 4:46.34.

UP NEXT
On Tuesday evening, the NCAA selections will be announced.  The only Warrior on the bubble is sophomore Megan Zahnow in the 100m hurdles.
