ALLENDALE, Mich. -- Wayne State throwers broke two school records on Friday at the GVSU Second To Last Chance meet, while freshman
Lauren Bohn (Windsor, Ont. / E. J. Lajeunesse Catholic H.S.) set personal bests in two events.
Sophomore
Elizabeth Herriman (Adrian, Mich. / Sand Creek) bettered her own school record in the javelin with a toss of 42.40m (139-01), which is also a provisional mark. Junior
Erika Perry (Romeo, Mich.) eclipsed her school mark in the hammer throw with a toss of 53.27m (174-09), which is also a provisional mark.
Bohn set personal bests in the hammer (48.60m) and the shot put (12.47m). Herriman also competed in the shot put (11.80m) and discus (40.65m), while newcomer
Dallas Porter (Royal Oak, Mich.) participated in the discus (32.76m).
