DETROIT -- The Wayne State University men's swimming and diving bested Findlay, 166-111, on Friday evening inside the Matthaei Natatorium. WSU earned 23 top-three finishes against the Oilers.
RELAY RESULTS- Junior
Juan David Molina Perez (Medellin, Colombia), senior
Jayson Hansen (Grand Blanc, Mich.), freshman
Rasmus Olsen (Kastrup, Denmark) and senior
Ben Winn (Washington, Mich. / Romeo) won the 200 medley relay with a mark of 1:33.11.
- The quartet of freshmen
Dmytro Drobnych (Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine) and Grzegorz Klos (Ruda Slaska, Poland), senior
Eric Gensheimer (Farmington, Mich.) and sophomore
Tyler Roshak (Farmington Hills, Mich. / Harrison) finished second in the 200 medley relay (1:33.74).
INDIVIDUAL RESULTS- Klos was victorious in the 200 free with a time of 1:43.23, while freshman
Ahmed Ahmed (Alexandria, Egypt) recorded a second-place finish (1:44.14). Klos also placed first in the 100 breaststroke (56.75), and Hansen finished second (58.17).
- Hansen won the 50 breaststroke (26.90), and senior
Aryell Pasternak (Sterling Heights, Mich. / Warren De La Salle) finished third (28.87). Freshman
Tim Addy (St. Clair Shores, Mich. / Warren De La Salle) placed fourth in a time of 29.38.
- Wayne State claimed the first three finishes in the 100 butterfly with Olsen placing first in 49.47. Roshak posted a second-place finish in 52.24, and junior
Mitch Bohr finished third (53.18).
- Gensheimer won the 50 free in a time of 21.70, while Winn placed second (21.79) and freshman
Noah Vallee (Macomb, Mich. / Dakota) finished fourth (22.20).
- Sophomore
Khayman Jones (Adrian, Mich.) won both diving events with a score of 435.05 (1-meter) and 236.55 (3-meter), while sophomore
Erik LaCroix (Taylor, Mich. / St. Frances Cabrini) finished second in both events (415.70, 1-meter; 199.30, 3-meter).
- Olsen recorded a first-place finish in the 100 free (47.24), while Roshak and Winn placed second (48.21) and third (49.83), respectively.
- Drobnych notched a time of 51.17 to place first in the 100 backstroke, while Molina Perez finished second (51.30).

Blake Wheeler (Holland, Mich. / West Ottawa) placed second in the 1000 free with a mark of 10:11.80, while senior
Kris Hector finished fourth (10:50.67).
