DETROIT -- The Wayne State University men's and women's swimming & diving teams are ready to take the lid off of their 2026-27 campaigns. The Warriors will be at the Davenport Invitational on Friday-Saturday, Oct. 9-10 at the Kentwood Aquatic Center in Kentwood, Mich.
Coach's Corner
"The first meet is always an interesting experience," said WSU's 30th-year head coach
Sean Peters. "It usually takes a race or a round or so to get back in the swing of things, but they can go fast and dive well! It's really a matter of our mindset. If they believe they can go fast or dive well, they will. Mindset is everything right now, and I am eager to see us perform!"
