A three-point play from Jackie Oestreich at the eight-minute mark brought the visitors within three (36-33) and a jumper from Blanford cut the deficit to one two possessions later powered a 7-0 run. Streetman ended the scoring drought with a three-pointer at the 5:48 mark to give WSU a 39-35 lead. Two second-chance points from
Brooke Wallace (Oberlin, Ohio / Amherst Steele) returned the advantage to seven (43-36) in favor of the Green & Gold. The Panthers would go on a 7-0 run to tie the game at 43-43 with 2:05 to play in the third quarter. Following a WSU timeout
