Former Wayne State University softball standout Stephanie LeClair was part of the winning team on season four of The Amazing Race Canada, which concluded on Sept. 13th.  LeClair and Kristen McKenzie are the first all-female team to win the reality show contest.

For winning the race, the champions received $250,000 in cash, two new Chevrolet vehicles, and two trips around the world.

The duo traveled all over the world and during Tuesday's finale, they navigated a series of challenges in Montreal, culminating in an activity testing their knowledge of everything they had seen and heard over the course of the race. They passed that quiz, and were the first team across the finish line on Mount Royal, becoming the first women to win the Canadian edition of the race.

LeClair was one of the most versatile players in school history and started over 50 games at three different positions (121 LF, 53 2B, 52 CF, 1 DP) and 227 games in total.  She finished second in WSU history in career games played (228), fourth in doubles (43), fifth in sacrifices (46), tied-for-sixth in RBI (104), seventh in hits (211), eighth in both at bats (673) and runs scored (108), tied-for-eighth in stolen bases (20) and 10th in total bases (295).  As a senior in 2010, LeClair was voted to the Daktronics All-Midwest Region Second Team as well as earning GLIAC All-Academic Team honors.
