The USA Today released its ranking of the 12 most stunning College Football alternate uniforms for 2017 yesterday.  Wayne State's jersey was the lone non-Division 1 school uniform to make the list.

Love 'em or hate 'em, alternate uniforms are an integral part of the college football season nowadays.

Sometimes, the final product is an eyesore from which even the worst of games couldn't distract you.  But several teams this season wore alternate uniforms that were stylish or eye-catching, thanks to a perfect combination of creativity, innovation and a little pizzaz.  Plus, when done well, throwback uniforms are spectacular.

Based on aesthetics along with the backstory, here are the 12 best alternate uniforms from the 2017 college football season (and the No. 1 absolute worst).

11. Wayne State's Medal of Honor uniforms

You wouldn't necessarily think red, white, blue, green and grey would look good together, but these uniforms make it work.  Plus, instead of their own names, players had Medal of Honor recipients' names on the back.
