TOLEDO, Ohio -- The Wayne State University men's tennis team (0-2) was defeated by the University of Toledo (5-5), 5-2, at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club in Toledo, Ohio. Two singles Warriors players came out victorious in the road trip to Ohio.
SINGLES RESULTS

Harvey Reed (Winchester, Hampshire, England / Peter Symonds College) (6-4, 6-2), and senior
Ryan Carlson (Armada, Mich. / Armada) (3-6, 6-4, 6-3), were the lone Warriors with singles victories against the Rockets.
· Freshman
Mats Westkamp (Born, Germany / Beethoven-Gymnasium Born) (6-3, 3-6, 6-4), and senior
Clement Charriere (Marseille, France / Chevreul Blancarde) (6-4, 4-6, 0-6), lost their matches in the crucial third set.
· Junior
Luke Ruocco (Lewes, England / Priory) (1-6, 4-6) and
Griffin Mertz (Farmington Hills, Mich. / North Farmington [Detroit Mercy]) (2-6, 1-6), both lost their matches in the No. 3 and No. 2 flights, respectively.
DOUBLES RESULTS
· The Westkamp/Mertz duo, and the Charriere/Ruocco pair lost to Toledo's No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, 2-6.
· The Reed/Carlson twosome had an unfinished match against the Rockets No. 1 doubles team.
