KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The Wayne State University men's tennis team (0-3) was defeated by Western Michigan University (5-5), 7-0, at the Sorensen Courts/West Hills Athletics Club in Kalamazoo, Mich. on Sunday.
SINGLES RESULTS
· Freshman
Mats Westkamp (Born, Germany / Beethoven-Gymnasium Born) (1-6, 4-6), and
Griffin Mertz (Farmington Hills, Mich. / North Farmington) (0-6, 1-6) both lost their matches against the Broncos No. 1 and No. 2 players, respectively.
· Junior
Luke Ruocco (Lewes, England / Priory) (1-6, 3-6), and senior
Clement Charriere (Marseille, France / Chevreul Blancarde) (2-6, 3-6) both lost their No. 3 singles, and No. 4 singles matches.

Harvey Reed (Winchester, Hampshire, England / Peter Symonds College) (3-6, 1-6), and senior teammate
Ryan Carlson (Armada, Mich. / Armada) (5-7, 4-6, 0-10) were both defeated by the Broncos No. 5 and No. 6 singles players, respectively.
DOUBLES RESULTS
· The Reed/Carlson duo were edged the Western Michigan's No. 1 doubles team 6-3.
· The Westkamp/Mertz team, and the Charriere/Ruocco pair each lost to WMU's No. 2 and No. 3 doubles tandems, 2-6, respectively.
