HILLSDALE, Mich. -- The Wayne State University men's tennis team (5-8, 2-1 GLIAC), defeated Hillsdale (9-7, 2-3 GLIAC) 5-4 in GLIAC conference play on Sunday. The win stalled the Chargers five match winning streak, propelling the Warriors into the top five in the conference.
 
SINGLES RESULTS
- Mats Westkamp (Born, Germany) (7-5, 6-3), and Clement Charriere (Marseille, France) (4-6, 6-4, 6-2), won their matches against Hillsdale's No. 1 and No. 2 singles players, respectively.
 
- Taylor Vane (Southampton, England) (4-6, 2-6) and Griffin Mertz (Farmington Hills, Mich. / North Farmington) (1-6, 4-6), lost their No. 3 and No. 4 singles matches, respectively.

- Luke Ruocco (Lewis, England) and Harvey Reed (Winchester, Hampshire, England) (6-2, 6-3) won against the Chargers No. 5 and 6 singles matches, respectively.

DOUBLES RESULTS
- Charriere and Vane was defeated by Hillsdale College's No. 1 doubles team 6-8.

- The duo of Westkamp and Mertz fell short to the Chargers No. 2 doubles team 5-8.
 
- Reed and Ryan Carlson (Armada, Mich.) won their No. 3 doubles match 8-4.
