Men's Tennis Sweeps Michigan Tech, 7-0

Box Score MIDLAND, Mich. -- The Wayne State University men's tennis team (4-6 overall, 3-2 GLIAC) won its match, 7-0, against Michigan Tech (0-9 overall, 0-3 GLIAC) on Sunday morning at the Midland Tennis Center.
 
DOUBLES

 
At No. 3 doubles, junior David Solar (Prague, Czech Republic) and freshman Joe Steele (Beverly Hills, Mich.) won their match 6-0.
 
Sophomores Dom Spicer (London, England) and Luke Laws (Sunderland, England) claimed a 6-1 victory at first doubles.
 
Freshmen Daniel Grey (Wiesbaden, Germany) and David Pluszczyk (White Lake, Mich. / Lakeland) fell at No. 3 doubles, 6-4.
 

SINGLES
 
Junior Donovan Nguyen (Shelby Township, Mich. / Utica) won his No. 4 singles match, 6-0, 6-0.
 
At No. 3 singles, Laws won his match, 6-1, 6-1.
 
Grey notched a victory at second singles, 6-1, 6-2.
 
At No. 1 singles, Spicer won 6-1, 6-2.
 
Pluszczyk won his No. 6 singles match, 6-2, 6-4.
 
At No. 5 singles, Solar won his match, 6-3, 6-3.
