Softball Program Announces Prospect Camp Date

Camp for those graduating high school in 2024, 2025 and 2026.

The Wayne State University softball program will host a one-day Prospect Camp on Sunday, October 2 at the Gary L Bryce Field/WSU Softball Stadium from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Camp Information
The camp is designed for players with graduation dates of 2024, 2025 and 2026.

Cost: $90

Site: Wayne State Softball Complex (In case of rain, the camp will be held in the Doris J. and Donald L. Duchene, Sr. Athletic Facility)

What to bring: Helmet, glove, bat, cleats, gym shoes, water and a lunch

Camp features include: Work with the Wayne State coaching staff, along with current 2022-2023 Warrior softball student-athletes; opportunity to demonstrate offense, defense, pitching, catching and base running through participation in drill work in the morning; live Q/A with softball student-athletes during station rotation; live games in the afternoon; and a WSU camp t-shirt.

Pre-register by Sept. 19th.

All individuals must have completed the WSU Sports Consent/Liability Waiver Form and Parent & Athlete Concussion Information Sheet before being allowed to participate. Please turn at at registration table day of camp. The sports medicine form can be downloaded at wsuathletics.com/concussionform and wsuathletics.com/campform.

In addition, any individual coming to campus must complete the Guest Daily Screener on October 2nd.
