Volleyball Set to Host Summer Camps

The camps will be held on July 17-18 plus a team camp on July 19-21.

DETROIT -- Head coach Tim Koth and the Wayne State University volleyball program have announced four summer camps. The Warriors will host an Introductory & Intermediate Skills Clinic on July 17 followed by an Advanced Skills Clinic and Elite Skills Clinic, both on July 18. Then, the Team Camp will be held on July 19-21.

The Introductory & Intermediate Skills Clinic runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., costs $65 to register ($85 after June 15, $110 walk-up) and is for grades 3-9. The next day, the Advanced Skills Clinic goes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., costs $85 to enter ($95 after June 15 and $120 walk-up) and is for high school/advanced players.

Also on July 18, the Elite Skills Clinic begins at 9 a.m., runs until 5:30 p.m., costs $95 to register ($115 after June 15, $135 for walk-up), and is for elite club level/advanced players.

WSU will also be hosting a Team Camp on July 19-21. The Team Camp will cost $180 per athlete. This three-day camp begins at 9 a.m. and lasts until 4 p.m. At this camp you will have the opportunity to train in a team setting with the Wayne State staff. Camp will conclude with a tournament.

Each of the firs three camps will come with a WSU volleyball t-shirt and pizza lunch will be provided as well.

You are urged to register online using this link. Once your high school coach registers a team, players can go in through that login and register themselves.

All participants must complete the Liability Form and Concussion Form (PDF) prior to participation.
