2023 Football Season Tickets Now On Sale

DETROIT -- The Wayne State University Department of Athletics is announcing that 2023 football season tickets are now on sale.

The Warriors will host six (6) home games at Tom Adams Field this upcoming fall season under first-year head coach Tyrone Wheatley.

After playing one of the nation's toughest schedules a season ago, WSU will face a challenging schedule in 2023 which includes NCAA Playoff participants Slippery Rock, Indianapolis, Davenport, Grand Valley State and Ferris State. Truman also had a strong 2022 campaign and played in the America's Crossroads Bowl.

This year, season ticket holders will recognize a higher savings than ever before. As a season ticket holder, you will receive a free Wayne State Football T-Shirt, 10% off all Wayne State merchandise, receive an opportunity to be highlighted as Season Ticket Holder of the Game, and priority access to postseason tickets. As always, parking in Lot 50 will be free on gamedays. To receive the free Wayne State football t-shirt, season tickets must be purchased by August 11th.

Season tickets are available for $60 for General Admission seating, while Faculty/Staff members of Wayne State University will be able to purchase discounted season tickets for $55. Season tickets can be purchased on Tom Adams Field Tickets (etix.com). All tickets purchased will have a delivery delay until August 14th.

If you have purchased season tickets online, your free t-shirt will be available for pickup at the merchandise trailer at the first game of the season. The size inputted when purchasing the season ticket(s) will be the size provided to you upon pickup.

The Wayne State home opener is on Saturday, September 9th with a 1 p.m. kickoff vs. Missouri S&T. The Warriors open the season the week before in Pennsylvania at Slippery Rock.

After a road trip to Indianapolis for a September 16th contest, the Bulldogs of Truman State will be the week four opponent at Adams Field for a 1 p.m. start on Saturday, September 23rd.

The second of four consecutive home games will see the Cardinals of Concordia (Ann Arbor) travel down I-94 to Midtown Detroit for a 6 p.m. kickoff on September 30th.

WSU begins GLIAC play on October 7th with the 86th annual Homecoming contest. This year's opponent is Michigan Tech for a 1 p.m. start.

The Warriors conclude the homestand on October 14th when Davenport visits Tom Adams Field for a 6 p.m. kickoff.

Following back-to-back road games at Saginaw Valley State (October 21st) and Northern Michigan (October 28th), Wayne State's regular-season home finale will be on November 4th against Grand Valley State.

WSU will conclude GLIAC competition on November 11th at Ferris State.
